Pork and Apple in Ginger Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Sunflower or vegetable oil
  • 100 grams Pork fillet, Thinly sliced
  • 1 Eating apple, Sliced
  • ½ inch Fresh root ginger, Peeled and grated
  • 25 grams Butter or margarine
  • to serve Pasta or noodles

Method

1. Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the sliced pork and fry until it starts to brown
2. Add the apple and ginger and cook for a further 5 minutes, until the apple starts to soften.
3. Add the butter or margarine and stir in until melted -- take care not to allow it to burn.
4. Remove the pork and apple slices to a warmed serving dish and pour over the ginger sauce
5. Serve with pasta or noodles
